Gawd. My infamous poker-face is a rather poor attempt at hiding sudden insecurities. Like I really shouldn't mistake ambiguous social situations for high school. Why take such a defensive position . . . when I could be inviting people towards me, approaching the ones that the former self would have already dismissed as dismissive of me.
