This morning I got an email from a Milanese publisher of art writing regarding a piece I had submitted for their digital platform. I didn't open it immediately. Instead I took a shower, telling myself that rejection is okay, I am okay, things are okay. I finally opened it - and, wahey, my piece was accepted. Woohoo!
