The Arts Council emailed to say it's giving me money to write two essays on visual art that I had proposed. Doh! I wasn't sure if I should apply for the award, knowing how busy the office would get in the spring/summer, and then after I did, I hoped I wouldn't get it. I don't have time to write these essays!
